2008-09 All Mountain Ski Coaching and Camps
Our ski instruction and guiding programs are based at Sugar Bowl, CA. All Mountain Ski Pros and ASI Guides focus on simplicity and consistency. You will learn proven free-skiing technique for all conditions and terrain. Eric DesLauriers is Director of the Sugar Bowl program.
To learn about our teaching program, check out DesLauriers' book, "Ski the Whole Mountain". Each of our top-level Ski Pros add their own unique flair to the techniques described and beautifully photographed by Hank deVre in this book.
All Mountain Ski Pros is adding camps and Ski Pros this season. All you girls out there, join KIT DESLAURIERS for her Women's Turn It Up™ ski camp. New Pro, Wendy Fisher, former Powder Magazine Female Skier of the Year, is available for Private Coaching in Crested Butte, CO.
Our signature events! This AMP series of two-day all-mountain free skiing ski camps at Sugar Bowl will include steep skiing sessions, powder skiing, crud skiing and all other challenges the mountain has offers. We'll begin working on the basics and move to harder terrain to apply the techniques as you like. Price includes 2 days of coaching/guiding, video and video review session!

Join us for a fun, full day of skiing and coaching at Sugar Bowl. Our one-day Ski the Whole Mountain™ is perfect to hone your technique and explore the variety of great skiing provided by the high speed quads of Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. We ski from 9:00 to 12:00 and then 1:00 to 4:00, buzzer to buzzer. Great coaching and skiing for intermediate and advanced skiers!

Ski Extrême and Backcountry Steeps
With Bela G. Vadasz and Eric DesLauriers 2 Day
This expert's course combines high-performance skiing skills and mountaineering savvy to ski long, committing, high-angle descents. At Sugar Bowl, we practice exercises from dynamic parallel, to steep-terrain hop-turns and then finally, "virage saute pedal", the pedal-hop turn. The second day, we'll refine techniques in steep chutes and learn to use avalanche safety gear, packs, ice axe, harness and rope for climbing and rappelling into a steep chute before skiing it.
For Advanced/Expert alpine skiers ready for double black terrain who want to add new dimensions to their skiing. Skills you will practice:
Skiing
- Steep, narrow terrain entrances
- Turning in tight, steep, narrow couloirs
- Hip-check, hop turns
- French pedal hop turns
Mountaineerng
- Use of avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel
- Carrying skis on a ski mountaineering pack
- Climbing steep terrain with harness, rope, ice axe
- Rappell descent over a cornice into a steep chute

Private Coaching with Eric D. or any Ski Pro is the best coaching you can get. Booking is on a first call basis. Call or email for availability and to discuss recommendations to make your experience the ultimate ski day of your season.
**Low Number Policy:
In the event that we have fewer then three participants in any clinic, we will have to shorten each day to a four hour session. In this case, we will offer coaching from 9:00 - 1:00.
All Mountain Ski Pros' group programs are ideally suited for the active sport participants...people who want to live it! Bring your whole company or ski group out for a ski adventure they'll talk about all year.
Cost: $90 per person, 20 person minimum.
